Kind of a fan of Japanese TV shows - movies too... Just wondering if y'all got some stuff I haven't seen yet. I really prefer the stuff where it's a couple of seasons (at least). Good movies are not rejected, either... Just not sure what to order online...

Favorites include Lain, Noir, Vampire Hunter D(both), etc...

Must have more Anaime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you seen Jin Roh yet? Solid stuff. Perfect Blue is also badass.

Both sound familiar, but I'm not sure...

If you haven't seen 'em you owe it to yourself: Princess Mononoke and Spritied Away.

I'm a sucker for his work :)

Both were excellent - I got to see Mononoke in the theater here, Goatmeal, that lucky SOB got to see Spirited Away in the theater while he was in Japan.

Just finished watching Azumanga Daioh. One of the cutest, most pleasant, and original things I've seen in a while. Good to watch when you're feeling slightly jaded by the constant "OKWTF?" feeling that comes with things like Evangelion or Serial Experiments Lain.

You're a bit of the new school...but I'd recommed a mix of both.

-Anything done by Miyazaki
-Ghost in the Shell, Stand Alone Complex
-Last Exile
-Gundam Seed
-Yamato...a real classic!

...I can go on forever...I've been collecting Anime for years...

My daughter is really into that stuff, shes 18, she recommends "Trigun", "Angle Sancuary", " Gundam Wing", "Evangelion" or if your into something a little softer "Ceres", or "Fushigi Yugi". she higly recominds theses titles.

Ninja Scroll is my current favorite, but not for young kids. Hyper violent and occasional sexual content.

If you haven't done so already, check out Macross Zero. It's a prequel to the popular Macross series. Four out of the five installments are out now and they're simply amazing. If you're already a Macross fan then the story will seem like a repeat but the artwork, CGI and action are great.
