It's optimistic, but we're passionate.

OMG -- ROTFLMAO!!!!

"Cycling is one of the most dangerous activities imaginable..."
"Bike helmet legislation gives you the FREEDOM to choose SAFETY!"

What a pile of whale flop.

Anyone who would think this crap is reasonable, or legitimate, is a cross-eyed mouth-breather whose parents were fraternal twins.

Just because I was a bit bored, I looked at some of the other pages on this website. Under "Who We Are", it tells you, "yes, this is a spoof website, you moron!"

Gold. Pure absurd gold.

Whale flop? I would call it Male Bovine Excrement (for those who don't understand that's a nice term for bull s**t ). Without any kind of helmet legislation you can choose to wear one, or choose not to, it's your choice, unlike car seat belts which keep the driver in place with the off chance that they can regain control, the only one hurt in a bicycle crash is the wearer. Personally I wear one, but will fight right along side of those who choose not to, to keep that choice open.

Unfortunately some people will take sites like the one aforementioned as truth.

#pragma soapbox-rant = on

What most people do not realise is that the risks of dying in a cycling crash, even without a helmet are far lower then the risks of getting type II diabetes from the typical North American sedentary lifestyle and diet, a pandemic that makes H1N1 look like a rank amateur. While governments are spending millions of not billions on a vaccine for H1N1, they are paying Diabetes II little more then lip service. This cycling is dangerous so wear a helmet mantra that seems to be on the lips of everyone, all it means is that bicycles become more expensive. You also scare the crap out of people, so that they stay in their cars and stay in front of the TV and then drop like flies from the complications of Diabetes II. Some of those complications are really, really ugly.

Cycling is not a cure for Diabetes II, but exercise really helps, and cycling is low impact and relatively easy to learn and do, and inexpensive to get in to. when used for commuting and getting around the time investment becomes negligible, not to mention your green house gas contribution drops to near zero.

I am going to start shooting people who don't wear helmets. That's the best way to assure 100% safety 24/7!

I make my family sleep in helmets.

I somehow thought this was going to be about riding in the snow with a special helmet on...oops, guess I was wrong.

Most amusing thing about the web site is that someone saw fit to take the time to create something that so lamely lampoons this subject for such a limited audience.

Yes, Wog... whale flop. Nothing lower on the planet. Of course, to be specific, whale flop in the Mariana trench.

OK you got me for a bit. I was also slow on the up take of what a bike helmet has to do snow. :D

These two Danish orgs excel in spreading the good word without cluttering up their position with science.

I love it.

Yeah, it is. But the links under "our network" are genuine.

Under the support link, I love that it acknowledges all the support from helmet manufacturers. Just like the other, genuine links.

Love the bumper stickers. Particularly the one that links the issue with a religious aspect

"When Jesus returns, He'll be wearing a Bike helmet."

Naw if you have dandruff, it's the stuff that falls out when you remove the helmet:D
