I ride fixed 9 miles daily - rain or shine, and am looking for a new frame. My current frame is a Cannondale CAAD5, which I like a lot: the aluminum frame is light and doesn't rust. The problem with this frame is that there are no good methods for fender attachment, and this particular frame is a touch small for me. I am using the SKS Raceblade fenders, but they don't stay put and need constant attention - annoying really.

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions about the best frame for these conditions (fixed, aluminum, and fender braze ons). Additionally, I am considering the S3X 3-speed fixed hub - if it's ever released - so having accommodations for a line to the rear wouldn't be a problem for me. Thanks!

Specialized Langster is the only frame that comes to my mind that fits your criteria (fixed, aluminum and fender braze on). There are a bunch of quality fenders on the market that don't require brazes.

get an aluminum cyclocross frame.

The Tricross Singlecross is the only one that comes to mind that has fender-mounts. It was cancelled last year but you might find one used.

I'm pretty sure I read that tire clearance is an issue with Langsters. Would be a waste to get fenders and be stuck with skinny tires.
