More accurately, how long will it be before a typical A&S jackass - within the next 5 hours of the original post time - is going to pop up and say "this post is absolutely F'ing useless" and other such pearls of positive wisdom?

Neither has it been the first of this forum, either.

I'm eager to see if A&S produces any real advocacy results in 2010 - or whether it'll continue it's tradition of trading hot air amongst its own members with little to show for it.

Happy New Year to everyone too!

I'm spending the day, totaling up my yearly mileage, reading my Christmas book(s), playing our new Wii (that the kids gave us), while listening to my new Beatles CDs. Even managed to post on my favorite thread.

Saw Avatar last night. Great use of 3-D, not so great use of story (an amped up version of Ferngully with parts of Alien thrown in)

Saw Avatar last night. Great use of 3-D, not so great use of story (an amped up version of Ferngully with parts of Alien thrown in)

I saw Avatar last week, thought for $300 million they could have hired someone who knew how to come up with a fresh story, rather then recycling a bunch of bits and pieces from different movies.

but you know, it's going to do well because the look is so good and the story will appeal to those teen-agers....
