I'm 34 and thinkin about gettin back into bmx racing. I'm looking for a 24" cruiser bike. I know there's alot of brands out there now days so I need some info and advice on what bike would work for me. I have been thinking about the Haro pro race 24 but I havent seen any reviews on it. Then I saw the Felt Racing Sector 24 but the Haro weighs less. If you have the weight of bike that would be great too. THANKS!!

Either one of those bikes are solid bases to start racing with. You could also look into GT and, ugh, Intense. Intense makes great bikes but I'm not too fond of them. Get out there and have fun.

I found an intense pro 24 for like 250 reg 500. Like you said I'm not too fond of the frame style but its like half the price of the haro.

For that price I would have to say go for the Intense, as much as I hate to say it. That's a pretty good deal.

I think the Felt Sector 24 has a weight limit around 225 lbs or something. My son has a junior, it is sweet. The weight limit ruled it out for me.
The Haros are nice bikes. It will probably have a little better component set than the Intense, they sell a lot of those that way, expensive frame with cheap components to get you to think you are getting a great bike for the price. 250 might make it worth it, because you will have some $ left for upgrades.... good luck selling your take-offs though.
Maybe its just my lbs, but they had smokin deals on end of the year Red Lines.
I ride an SE, they have a few cruisers to choose from. I got a So-Cal flyer, which is a dirt jumper, but I am a big fellow so I thought I could us the heft. Floval Flyers are cool, but they did not have one when I bought. A warning there too, SE specs super cheap components on everything but the Floval, I would buy any of their frames again though

If you are just talking msrp, then yes. Your post sounds like you may have forgot to include a link?

2010 Gt http://www.gtbicycles.com/usa/eng/Bikes/BMX/Details/5968-G10POWS24-Power-Series-24

Heavier, but "decent". http://www.dkbicycles.com/completes.html?completes/2010/park/cygnus24/main.html (http://www.dkbicycles.com/completes.html?completes/2010/park/cygnus24/main.html)
and cheap http://www.danscomp.com/107067.php?cat=BIKES

These Red Lines are slightly cheaper, but way better imo https://www.jrbicycles.com/storefront/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=2543

These are mentioned above, great price here, also a pure race bike which the DK is not. Note the rider size recommendation.

My lbs blew out a few of those Red lines for 350$ at the end of 09'. Try to find a deal like that, those are really good race bikes stock.

I have ridden one of these, but it was way not stock, so my opinion may be skewed. Real nice and well equipped, also mentioned above.

I run a Free Agent Eluder, maybe not the ultimate but handles me ok. I'm 260 and it has held up well. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I put half down on the Haro Pro Race 24. I didnt want them to sell it so I have it on hold. So I havent rode (or is it ridden) it yet but cant wait. I think the weight and the all white is what really sold me. Plus I grew up on a Redline so I'm wanting something different. I did consider the Felt cuz it looked sweet but I dont know too much about that brand. And if I went the cheaper way with the Intense, I probably wouldnt have been happy down the road just to save 300 bucks.
