Nice clip of you on NY1. You should've taken off your shades so we could get a better look at you :p
Too bad the weather was so brutally cold. That must've been a hardy crew to brave such temps.

thanks - yeah, it was bloody cold, alright. when you thought about the casualties and saw their families there, it made it all more than worth it, though.

I was suggesting they think about shifting the ride to Memorial day or thereabouts, maybe getting more attendees when it is warmer out. But there was something cathartic about doing it in the cold.

I've participated in these before and it's great the cycling community gets together to remember fellow cyclists who lost their lives doing something they enjoy.

yes. I really liked that there were different cycling groups (TA, Street Memorials, 5BBC, et al) involved.

It kinda stinks that some people making comments on the news articles say things like "get rid of all the junky old bikes left chained up all over town", etc but if nothing else, these rides get people noticing and talking about the casualties and what could be done to prevent them. Thankfully most of the comments are sympathetic or at least constructive in their criticisms.
