After 1300 miles, the original Specialized Turbo Pro tires on my bike needed replacing (well, the rear one did and I wanted matching tires and you can't get those any more). So I went with the Specialized All Condition Sport's in a 25mm width (originals were 26mm). After two rides, I've noticed they are noisier and transmit way more vibration then my old tires to the point that my hands are very numb after 15 miles. It's to the point that I can barely shift if I don't shake some blood into my hands first. I'm moving my hands around just as much as I used to plus I finally found a comfortable saddle so more weight is on my butt than my hands.
Anyone else experience something similar with these tires, or are most tires like this and I just got lucky with the original equipment on my bike? Oh, one more thing. I pumped my old tires to 130 psi (max listed on tires). These are rated for 125 max so I'm putting in 125. I don't get it but I know my hands never felt this way before. Thanks for any tips. I don't have gloves yet but they are on my list.
