This is just a general question...

Who else is using Crank Brothers Eggbeater pedals? On road or mountain, or both? Like 'em or hate 'em?

I've been using them on a road bike for about a year and a half and have had very good luck. They seem to be much easier to clip into and out of than my old Look pedals and I can pull a lot harder without any slop. The cleats also seem to wear better than the Look plastic cleats. I did get the road specific cleats that have the "pontoons" for easier walking.

Just wondering what others think of them.

Happy riding! :D

Rainman P. swears by them. When he visited me last year, he put a pair on my PKN-10 before riding it. If I ever do go clipless, they are high on my list of potential candidates.

JUst be careful if you ever put a non-cleated foot on one. It is like stepping on a ball bearing. The Candys don't have this problem

I've found the candys slippery with flip flops in the rain :)

I use the candys to commute and the eggbeaters on the fixie, but I'm going to switch 'em around cuz I need a bit of platform to push the gear.

My first first clip-in were candys.

They both are cool looking and the 'beaters will keep other peoples off your bike!
