Ok. I am an old bmx'er who mainly stuck to dirt jumps when I did race. My passion is definitely jumps but I have no desire to go back to the old dirt jumps I used to ride at. I like the downhill/freeride style but mostly for the jumps. Riding over bumpy rocks does nothing for me.
With that being said I am looking into a DH/freeride bike that is focused towards the jumps. I was thinking either a bottle rocket or a hardtail sasquatch would work. I almost would rather go hardtail but I don't want to hold back when it comes to drops.
Any suggestions?? My budget is around $2000 so I would either get a new hardtail or a used FS.
