When you buy a bike... say a globe bike ... is it powder coated? or painted?
I like powder coating for its robustness.. are there any companies which do sell powder coated bikes?

Your question is unclear. What is a globe bike?

Why not contact the manufacturer? Most commercially available bikes are painted with the standard method rather than powder coated so chances are that they are too.

Didn't Spec actually make a bike called Globe at one time? I'm thinking it was some kind of city bike.

Globe is a stand alone brand introduced by Specialized. I doubt they are powdercoated but check with them. I posted thier website above.
