How is it on train, buses...? I've searched through the forum with no results on this.
To clarify a bit, my Mifa is very similar in weight and folded dimensions to the Miami and most likely next year I'll be carrying it inside a bus, but there seems to be no particular reviews on this German folder.

Hi, I just ordered a Citizen Miami. I live in New York City and will carry it occasionally on a train or bus. I will let you know how it works out. BTW, The Citizen customer service is great. They were really nice to answer all my questions. (My 12 year old daughter has the Citizen Tokyo.)

Depends on where you're going and what the person letting you through says

i had citizen tokyo before (my first folding bike) although the price is good they hold up true to the saying that you get what you pay for. it is a nice starter bike and it will get you to your destination with no problem, that is if it's a straight commute. meaning no folding, carrying, unfolding and carrying again. i am assuming that the weight of miami is the same as a tokyo (smaller in size). the problem is if you have a multi modal commute. it is on a heavy side and you can't roll it on it's wheels when folded. so lifting it on bus, stairs, is a problem. second gears are on a low side. components are not good. if you can stretch your budget some more - get a dahon instead.
