Hey everyone,
After mountain biking seriously a few years ago and getting burnt out on the sport as a whole, I had finally caught the bug again and (somehow) talked my mom into getting me a new bike for my (18th) birthday. Well, I scoured ebay and ended up getting this baby (sans pedals/ electronics) for $3200. The guy basically bought this 5900 in 2003 (upgraded everything) rode 800 miles, bought all new DA 10 in 2004, rode for 150 miles and sold. I had a great experience buying from ebay (shipped quick, packaged excellent, bike was in BRAND NEW condition.) Then, spent the last few weeks buying pedals new shorts, stuff like that and took some pics now that its all together.
Here is the bike

And all the parts are:
Bars: Easton EC90
Seat post: Wound Up Carbon
Seat: Selle Italia SLR
Shifters: DA 10
F/R derailleur: DA 10
Brakes: DA 10
Cassette: DA 10 27-12
Pedals: DA
Crank: FSA Carbon Team Issue 53-39
Headset: Cane Creek S6
Wheels: Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL --- I cringe all the time over nasty roads so I bought a standard 32 spoke 105 wheelset for training.
Tires: Michelin Pro Race
Bike weighs in a bit over 16 lbs.
Other stuff worth noting-
These amazing looking shimano SH-R215 ($210 new on ebay) road shoes. All carbon sole, stunning craftsmanship...
And after all that mountain biking my racing jackets are pretty much dead. I got some new polarized half jackets ($160) to fill the void.

Also,
The bike obviously has to have some electronics so I bought a Polar S720i ($227 new on ebay) and a wireless flight deck (I know a little redundant, didn’t know hr monitors could do all the same stuff.)

Let me know what you think!

PS: Shaved my legs too so I already feel apart of the club :-D
