My cassette cogs are wearing out. Does anyone have a source for Campy 8 speed cassettes? I don't want to upgrade my whole drivetrain for two more gears I don't really need. Shimano still has 8 speed stuff out there. But, I'm at a loss looking for Campy stuff. HELP!

Try Pro Peleton in Boulder, CO http://www.propeleton.com
I have some here for about $25.00 (very few sizes thus far)

Ever since Campy came out with 9 speed, the 8 speed stuff has been hard to find.
This is a really, really old post. Heck it was made before I joined.
Kind of cool in a way but I don't think the OP is gonna respond. :)

The writing is on the wall - time to move on. 8 speed was replaced with 9 speed in 1997 and it was a top product for only 3 years before being replaced with 10 speed in 2000 and 11 speed in 2009. Campy makes very few parts for repair or replacement of 8 speed.

I'll leave it up just in case there's current interest in 8 speed.

Well, just in case some one is not willing to part with their beloved first generation Ergo group, you can get a conversion kit that will allow you to use a Shimano rear wheel and a Shimano cassette with a kit of spacers from these guys. They also have a 9 speed Campy cassette conversion to 8 speed.

Literally, a decade old post. GG.
And Miche 8 speed campy compatible cogs are still made.

I hate it when someone drags up post that old. Why do you do it?
