How about a FAQ sticky that could address a lot of the questions that beginners normally ask? Of course one big one that would need to be explained first is the ever popular "What bike should I buy?". I don't think there is a specific answer. However, there is information that can help somebody decide between some options. Generally it could provide advice or things to consider about all things road bike.

Also, have you ever considered an "Ask a Guru" area that would have certain members labeled as Gurus. These are the folks that day in and day out offer sound responses based on lots of experience. Chris comes to mind as well as K Brown. I recently saw Mr. Moulton post. He's been involved in the industry for longer than some of these folks have been alive..

Not just to talk about what bike. In fact I don't think there is a good answer for that. But to talk or explain in general things like, clipless, frame materials, mirrors, tires, groups, etc... Oh and lets not forget double - vs - triple, helmets. The main point of the thread would be to give more factual information than opinion oriented advice. Not the "this is better than that" kind of threads that pop up alot. Things that a newbe might not have considered or that could answer a lot of the general questions.
