I am considering to replace my old (and quite heavy wheels - deore disk, deore cassette, dt champion, mavic 450gr rims) for something lighter.
Two options that are available in Poland are (both could shave a pound from wheels):
DT Hugi disc hubs + DT 4.1 rims + dt revolutions, vs.
Tune disc hubs + DT4.1 rims + dt competitions (right side of rear wheel)/ dt revolution (rest)
so the choice is down to the hubs (tune's wheels are 10% cheaper - but still quite expensive).
What would you recommend? Did you have the chance to try Tune or DT hubs? I heard that DT hubs are pretty strong but Tune's are not that strong (they have some ceramic bearings - which last not that long). I ride in mostly dry conditions, with mud only some of the times.
