Commuting - Cygolite MiliOn 200 or Cateye Single Shot Plus

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Any users? I want to buy a nicer light than the old Cateye EL530 that I have right now. Both of the lights above:
-Are rechargeable.
-Are self-contained for easy transport.
-Can be purchased for approximately $120 online.
-Look a lot brighter than what I have right now.
However, their websites give the data in very different formats (candlepower vs lumens, etc.), and it's difficult to compare. The pictures look similar - but that's not very scientific.
Anyhow, thoughts are appreciated. Right now they look nearly equivalent to me, save for the fact that I can purchase the Cygolite at Performance and rack up some more points.

I haven't used either of those, but I've been pretty impressed with my Busch and Muller IXON IQ (though I've only owned it for a short time and haven't gotten to use it as much as I'd like during that time). While slightly more than the two you list, it has one advantage the others lack: the ability to instantly recharge anywhere by purchasing regular AAs.

I would get the cygo, I prefer Li ion batteries to NiMH also I would avoid the cateye on principle if they're listing candlepower, it seems like they're trying to hide something.
I've been eying the MiLion 200 for a couple weeks since I saw it at REI. I'm debating between it and a Magicshine. I too like the recharge-ability and all-in-one convenience of the MiLion, and have a feeling Cygolite might have a better build quality and service policy than MagicShine (although the reports of positive customer service from MagicShine dealers are generally positive.) I've been waiting to see some user reviews of the MiLion, including pictures or videos, before I make my decision.

This is going to be a horrible pun on purpose, but...
Would you care to illuminate me further on the "why" of both of those points?
