I dropped my bike of to the shop last week because both of my shocks were busted so now I don't have a bike and the weather is way to nice to just sit in the house and not ride. :(
So I just called some of friends to see if I can barrow a bike for a while we'll see what happens.

Sorry to hear. A weekend without a bike is a sad thing.

Specifically what was wrong with your fork/shock and how many miles did they have on them?

Well rear shock has busted out seals and front wouldn't lockout any more and it also has busted seals. I only have about 900 miles on the bike but it's a 2008 model. I bought the bike back in may as a close out so I don't know if sitting on the showroom floor for awhile has anything to do with the seals but here is the funny side when my LBS called the fox they told him that seals are covered by warranty only for three months so owner of the LBS told them that is one BS story, well after about 20 mins of phone transfers they were agreed to fix them.

This also shows that how important to have a good bike shop on your corner. This wasn't the first time my LBS came through for a warranty work. If anybody in Los Angeles area needs a great bike shop you should stop by at the bike connection in Sherman oaks. :)
