Looks like my speculation for the JrT and superT were correct.

I don't know if they had the 888R and 888RC specs mixed up. Does not seem like the 888RC should have dual HSCV while the 888R has HSCV (one side), SSVF (one side). Thats not the way it is now.

The current 888R has dual HSCV and the 888RC is HSCV/SSVF. I think that would confuse a lot of folks if it were opposite like on the site. http://www.cripplefight.com/smileys/lame.gif

Mael what was your speculation on the Jr T and Super T,
and Fox, I already said you should get a 66, do you need someone more senior than me, like Mael. Don't you trust me :(
Juyst kidding:) good luck with the 66, post picks though, or I'll...

anthonaut: Double Crowns aren't stupid. I'm just mad because my bike can't have them. According to what my friends have said.

There will be no upgrades to my bike, which means no pics, until after my first DH race. Which is most likely going down in mid September. Hopefully by then I'll have worked my ass off and can afford new bike parts. Or i'll have decided that I need a full blown DH bike for racin'.

PS: Might not get a 5th. I've seen much better for cheap. Kinda interested in a Fox Vanilla RC 2.5" Stroke. Just not sure if it would fit my frame. Considering the swing arm works just like a Bullit swing arm. Do you think it would hit the front triangle?

You need to find the i2i in order to figure out what shock to get. Again it will likely void the warranty if you put in a longer shock to extend the travel.

Mael, you've ridden more 'zokes than anyone I know...do you think the 66R's will be sufficient for my 230 lb. bulk and aggro style ;) ? My benchmark for comparison is my '00 Juniors.

I would probably stick with dual crown, it's just that the 66's come attached to my next bike...muahahaha.

I do like my zokes. Although I gotta say, I have been trying other forks lately. (manitou and rockshoxx) This way I can give really good comparisons...

Yes...I think the 66 will be fine. They seem strong, beefy and butter (I really do mean butter) smooth. The z150 has proven itself for just about anyone and I think the 66 is based on a better internal platform. I have considered buying one eventually for my roast but right now that bike is on the backburner :)

Ummm next bike? Whatcha getting :D

Oh...and there is no comparison. 00 jrT's feel like spring boards in comparison. It will feel very strange at first because your upper body won't get worked as much as with the jrT's as the fork will do a lot of work :)

Thanks for the analysis...enlightening as usual. I've no doubt I'll be blown away by their feel and response. I just hope they can stay precise through the rough stuff at speed. The steel steerer oughtta help.

Whatcha getting :DThe SX Trail looks *really* good right now. I do love my fourbars.http://www.cripplefight.com/smileys/rock.gif
