Road Cycling - CycloOps or Kenetics ???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Which is best folks ? summer is almost over and want to make sure I don't get stuck w/o training during bad weather.
Any body can provide feedback with either trainer?

I have a Kurt Kinetics. Bicicyling gave it an Editor's CHoice pick one year. It's a rugged SOB. I have tried a Cyclops in a store, it seems fine. I don't think you could go wrong with either. I would pay some attention to the type of trainer you want. Units like my Kinetics provide a lot of resistance. More than I could really handle effectively last year. I'm hoping I'm in better shape this year. There is a really cool computerized trainer where you pick a level of effort and then race against a computer generated cyclist
at that level. That sounds like da bomb.

So far I'm incline towards Kenetics, I'm hearing that CycloOps leaks big time in a given time...

The Cyclops re-engineered their fluid system and now supposely they will not leak...but, they have a lifetime warranty and will take care of that or any other problem hassle free. My bike mechanic had a 7 year old Cyclops that blew and leaked, he sent it back and the company replaced it with a new Cyclops Fluid 2.
I decided on the Cyclops Fluid 2 because it had the best feel of all the trainers I tried (didn't not try the Kenetics due to price), and the wattage workout level is capable of 750 watts (Lance can do 450 watts sustained for 1 hour) thus anything over that is unnecessary and Kenetic advertises 3,000 watts, but Lance only can do 450 for an hour and about 600 in a spurt. So for a pro racer the Cyclops Fluid 2 or the Fluid 2 TT if you want computer interfacing, would be fine. If your not a pro racer nor aspire to be one, then Cyclops makes the Magneto (not the Magnetic), this unit is very quiet and is capable of 450 watts; it uses no oil if that bothers you for some reason.
Whatever you decide to buy, use a fan when on these devices blowing towards you otherwise you will sweat badly; also have some sort of entertainment, because trainer riding is extremily boring.
Ain't that the truth. I need to get a little tv and a bunch of those training videos.

Yea but that 600 watt spurt is his lactate threshhold, which is max sustained output for several minutes. He can pump out way over 1,000 when doing a short sprint, like up a quick hill. Even a normal cyclist can get up to 750watts for short bursts (then the burn knocks you back down to size). But then again trainers aren't really meant for sprints are they? One horse power is 746 watts.(yes a horse is much more powerfull than this[2-3HP sustained] but the inventor of the horsepower unit wanted his steam engines to sound extra burly[mmm marketing])
