Thinking about signing up to do the Bike the Drive TdC event on May 30th. I know that overall it's a very well organized ride, but I was just wondering if anyone has past experience with the TdC side of things and could give me a little insight as to how that all works.
Thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide.
( i apologize if my post isn't all that clear, but i guess i'm just looking for info beyond what the TdC website provides. thanks )

I don't know about the Chicago TdC ride, but the one in Indianapolis in and or around the Indy 500 track was well put together and a lot of fun.

Well, I've run across a couple of local folks who not only did Bike the Drive last year, but did it as their TdC event. They had nothing but good things to say about how well the local TdC people ran their side of things. Sounds like it's a top-notch group of people.
I was so impressed with what they told me, I've signed up and am looking forward to participating. I've done Bike the Drive a couple of times in the past, but it will be fun to do it knowing I'm really riding for something worthwhile this time.

I live in Colorado and don't know much about the TdC ride in Chicago, but the Colorado one is fun, well-run, well-marked, and has enough rest areas. I hope that helps.
the nashville tn event was great fun last year. several ride lengths to accomodate every skill level. several rest areas to tank up on and a great lunch when you returned. overall a great experiance i recomend it to everyone.
