Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - I broke my Kurt Kinetic (good news story)

My Road Machine started making a hellacious noise over the holidays. Sounded (and felt) like something was grinding inside the resistance unit. It was so loud that I couldn't hear the TV while I was riding. Finally it seized to the point that I could barely turn the cranks. I called Kurt on Monday and talked to Erin. She said it had something to do with the magnets and it was covered under the lifetime warranty. They shipped a new unit via FedEx that arrived today. Back to the house of pain tomorrow!! :thumb:

Even though I couldn't use the trainer for a few days, it's a pleasure to deal with a company like Kurt that stands behind their product.

That is great service. I am somewhat amazed in this day and age, but I am glad it worked out for you.
