Northern California - Taking a break from epic climbs/descents

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

For several months, I'm just sticking to easier and safer rolling hills for a while.

After that I'm might try training with some added weight. ;)

Best with child announcement ever! Congratulations.
Mrs. Oldstrong and I are very happy for you, you will love being a mom. Kids are game changers but in a kind of super awesome way.

2 weeks of business travel made it hard for me to update.

I'm at 13.5 weeks now.

Here's the ultrasound from 11.5 weeks, everything looks good so far. :)

Just for comparison, here was the one at 7.5 weeks - what a difference 4 weeks makes!

I do have a little bump now but my clothes are still hiding it so far.

Here I am dressed up for my concert at 12 weeks:

Starting to feel a little better now I'm in the second trimester, nausea is down and energy levels are coming back up. :thumb:
