Thanks to all the guys that gave me advice and help I appreciate it a lot. I learned a lot through this build, and managed to keep it within my budget of $350.

Cool. Only thing is, my Pake chainring was worse than Biopace. Might be worth planning on getting a better ring sometime in the near future. The cranks themselves seem fine.

Ewww oval shaped rings lol...... the so called "difference" that shimano calls is minimal in my opinion....

I'd get some foot retention, probably not a big deal since you have a brake, but trust me, it's a lot more fun with foot retention. It might be a pain in the ass at first, but after about a week it rules.

You can get some plastic clips and nylon straps for probably $10, if you decide you like it, which you probably will, you can upgrade as you see fit, personally, I just bought these http://cgi.ebay.com/Comet-Synthetic-Suede-Leather-Laminated-Toe-Straps_W0QQitemZ170372306823QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCycling_Parts_Accessories?hash=item27aafb1787 and use the nylons plus those as doubles on plastic double gate clips.
