I will leave this here.

Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this
Bull**** three ring circus sideshow of
Freaks
Here in this hopeless ****ing hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any ****ing time. Any ****ing day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

Fret for your figure and
Fret for your latte and
Fret for your lawsuit and
Fret for your hairpiece and
Fret for your prozac and
Fret for your pilot and
Fret for your contract and
Fret for your car.
It's a
Bull**** three ring circus sideshow of
Freaks
Here in this hopeless ****ing hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any ****ing time. Any ****ing day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

Some say a comet will fall from the sky.
Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves.
Followed by faultlines that cannot sit still.
Followed by millions of dumbfounded dip****s.
Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this
Stupid ****, silly ****, stupid ****.
One great big festering neon distraction,
I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.
Learn to swim x3.
Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
Mom's comin' round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Learn to swim x8.
**** L Ron Hubbard and
**** all his clones.
**** all those gun-toting
Hip gangster wannabes.
Learn to swim x8.
**** retro anything.
**** your tattoos.
**** all you junkies and
**** your short memory.
Learn to swim x7.
**** smiley glad-hands
With hidden agendas.
**** these dysfunctional,
Insecure actresses.
Learn to swim x8.

'cause I'm praying for rain
And I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way.
I wanna watch it all go down.
Mom please flush it all away.
I wanna see it go right in and down.
I wanna watch it go right in.
Watch you flush it all away.

Time to bring it down again.
Don't just call me pessimist.
Try and read between the lines.
I can't imagine why you wouldn't
Welcome any change, my friend.
I wanna see it all come down.
Put it down.
Suck it down.
Flush it down.

I'll let you know after the tsunami recedes and we dry out and take stock of everything. At least the power is back on after nearly a week. Apparently the quake took out the main grid network and the whole shootin match failed when the hydro power dams all fell down. Once the bridges, highways and roads are rebuilt next spring, I'm sure that FEMA rescue will arrive with their little trailers for us all to live in. Then the insurance companies will write checks for all the damages so that the State can recover from this economic disaster without having to raise our taxes to pay for fresh cuppacino every day.

Meanwhile I gotta get back to fishing for a grey whale so I haz enough food to last the rest of the winter. Blubber anyone?

Eh, they are ok for a cover band.
Not any worse than Australian Pink Floyd.

The Dead and Floyd represent real substance.. Some listen to music for content and lyrics...
.... - I know that involves a lot of work..
At least those lyrics are audible - unlike much of modern day music..

I lived in dormitories for most of the 1980s.
I heard enough Dead for this lifetime.
I'm sure Phish and Widespread are good too. Just not my taste.

My uncle lives out there and he says the exact same thing. At least with hurricanes you can see them coming. It's not like a hurricane is going to sneak up on anyone. If you failed to prepare then you have no one to blame but yourself. Tornadoes on the other hand...not so much. Especially when they hit in the middle of the night.(and I swear 90% of them seem to) If I have one true fear from mother nature it's a tornadoe. I've seen a live one once and dodged too many to count. Some by less than a mile. I guess I'm livin' right. Hope everyone out there is OK.
