Spending the week at Navarre Beach on Florida's Gulf coast just east of Pensacola. We expect Bonnie to make landfall tomorrow late afternoon. Right now predictions are that she will hit near Panama City, about 60 miles east of us. Some reports suggest she might gain enough strength to become a hurricane by then. Looks like this midwestern family will have something to remember about this vacation. I'll report back after we get home.

Well, Bonnie hit 60 miles east of Navarre and did little damage but created the best surfing in the Florida panhandle for a couple days. Charly stayed south and did some real damage. I hope forum members in that part of the world are all OK.
