Mountain Biking - New Pugs on the way

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Yeehaw! Found a great deal on an '08 Pugsley, should have it in time for next weekend. Can't wait to boldly go where none of my bud's can go without sweating their balls off.

Congrats! I have a frame hangin on the wall begging for me to build it. Just don't have the cash at the moment. I'm slowly gathering parts... got the headset and rims so far... :)
Good luck with your build and be sure to post pics!
Here's a few cellphone shots

I rode it this morning on some crusty old snow, it rocks. I was amazed how far it coasts once it's moving, it's like a tank. Climbing wasn't too bad either.
I added SRam x7 shifters, Avid Elixir 5's, Bonty racelite saddle, and KMC chain.
It weighs in at 35 and change. Lots of fun to come!

in the second pic it looks like the fork is bent. just me?
No, the offset is intentional. the front wheel also uses a rear hub. I've got a ss cog for the front wheel that I haven't mounted yet. It allows you to swap wheels in the event of a rear freewheel freeze-up on the trail. You know, while your riding the Iditabike ;-)
I'm jealous, man. I really wanna try to build one up out of whatever crap I've got laying around over the next year. Maybe I'll be able to ride some trail next winter at a somewhat normal pace.
