Gday Yall,

The time has come to upgrade my forks ( 2002 Rock Shock Dukes) IMHO they are just crap. but hay theyve done me OK since then. My mate has a bike with Marzocchi MZ comps on it and these really feel vastly superior to me. Id like to know if anyone else has used the MX comp and what they think?

What suprised me was that my shock was an air shock, and his a coil, but there was no way in the world i could get perfomance close to that ( admittedly he has 100 mil travel to my 80, but even so theres no comparison)

Just after everyones oppinions on whether this is a worthwile upgrade

cheers, G

I haven't used the MX comp but I have test ridden the MX pro w/ETA. It was a great fork, didn't seem very flexible, travel was smooth and adjustments were easily made. Of course I only rode around in the parking lot and rode off of some curbs so I may not have gotten to see some of the forks weak points in rougher terrain.

If I remember correctly the MX line of forks has one side air and one side coil.

IMHO if you feel like the fork you have is not fulfilling your needs then by all means go ahead and get a new one.

cheers. the only thing im worried about is a case of " the grass is greener" when i rod ehis bike all in all everything else felt horrible, but the forks were just so much better than mine.
