I bet the temperature just dropped 20 degrees in Green Bay just now! hahahahahahahaha!
Lets here is for old quarterbacks. Kurt W. for King!

It wasn't particularly weird or lucky. What was astonishing was the inability of either secondary to defend against the pass. That was rather pathetic.
It was like watching the 2009 Giants vs. the 2009 Giants.
Rogers was holding on to the ball too long.

Everybody on both teams pooled their money and decided to bet the over. Warner 5 touchdowns and Rodgers throws 4. Hopefully no team is looking at the Defensive Co ordinators for a head coach position.
Rogers was holding on to the ball too long.
He's done that all season. What's miraculous is that he only got sacked 51 times this season. Earlier on he was on pace to beat David Carr's record of 76.

arena football anyone? Can't say I'm sorry to see the cheeseheads go home.

C'mon Pcad, that final play was uniquely weird. Blocked forward pass bounces off the QBs foot and intercepted by a linebacker 2 feet away. Somebody top that for weird?

Me either, they didn't deserve to go any further. But then again, it is all rigged people. This year's Super Bowl winner and playoff contenders were determined eight months ago in a bunker under Rupert Murdoch's house.

Blocked forward pass
It was a fumble wasn't it? What was the ruling? Whatever it was, it was not a pass.

Rodgers arm was in the Forward pass motion when the ball was knocked loose. Rodgers foot kicked the ball into the air, it never touched the ground or it would have been an incomplete forward pass. That is what made it uniquely weird.

I only saw replays and didn't listen to play by play. That was the official ruling, an interception? What I saw was the arm come forward and stop before the ball was knocked loose. If the ball had touched the ground, I'm betting they win on a replay, that was not a forward pass.

That was a strange play. Rather heartbreaking ending after the way they battled back from 21 down. Very entertaining game though.
Looks like there's only two teams left that have been playing well on offense and defense lately. We'll see if the Chargers and Cowboys can keep it up. (I only root for the Cowboys when they play the Dolphins, but I have to concede they've been quite impressive lately)

After further review, it was a fumble, not an interception. Not so odd after all. Skol Vikes!

From the NFL.com play by play:
TDK.Dansby (http://www.nfl.com/players/profile?id=00-0022927) 17 yd. fumble return
Since it never hit the ground, it would end up a t.d. either way. It's still odd that it bounced off his foot, even if that did not determine the outcome.
I'd say the call was close enough that IF they called pass on the field, and IF the ball hit the ground first, that call might have stood up to a replay, as in not enough evidence to overturn.

It wasn't all that weird of a play. It was just a fumble, and when you're that close to the end zone it's no surprise to see it returned for a TD. If you want lucky and weird, check this one out:

The Cowboys look good. Quite good in fact. Not sure I am ready to drink the blue and silver kool aid and take a seat on the Cowboy bandwagon, but they do look good. And the Deathstar is growing on me.
Now back to the Cheesehead and Chicago Cardinals talk.

It's the pole dancers, isn't it?
No, those bother me. Football is something a father should be able to watch with his sons, without the uncomfortable annoyance of male enhancement product commercials and cage dancers. I miss the days of low tech NFL football broadcasts with actual play by play calls. Now get off my yard you pesky kids.!!!!

I agree. The pole dancers is a pretty despicable thing to do. That's one of the reasons I won't ever root for Dallas.

It was funny to see the game end on a defensive play when neither defense had done anything in the second half. It would've been fun to see the Packers get a third shot at the Vikes but as my team didn't finish anywhere near the playoffs I just hope they're good games.

I'm bad, it was ruled a fumble. I was actually supposed to be helping the Teens prepare for finals during the game. Sound was off. Looked like a pass to me. I guess that's why I watch the games.

I watched that a few times on TiVo.
My Ruling: Punt returned for TD. Seriously. The rule book does not say that a kick has to be intentional.
