Cyclocross - Anyone have a Voodoo?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just picked up a 2009 Voodoo Limba CX bike. I found virtually no information on these bikes on the interwebs, so I'm assuming it's a pretty obscure low-volume brand. Anyone else around here riding one?

Maybe you need help using Google... http://www.voodoocycles.net/limba.htm
The manufacturers web site is a given, I was wondering if anyone else has actually owned one and has experience with durability, flaws, or other experiences they might want to share.

Voodoo's are mostly(?) designed by the legendary Joe Murray. A famous MTB racer, and the designer of one of the most influential bikes in history - the Kona Lava Dome/Explosif (etc, depending on frame material). This was the first mass production MTB to have a sloping top tube and also popularized straight forks, traits which spread not just throughout the MTB world but into road racers. And the Lava Dome is still one of the best handling hard tails ever (most modern hard tails copy it quite slavishly..)
So you've got a Murray designed crosser in Scandium??? And you didn't know what you were buying??? Lucky b*****d!

Don't tell me that the bike has Campag or SRAM, or I may have to think of a way to kill you and steal the bike - and postage to the UK would be a *****!

I didn't even know Voodoo was still around. They seemed to be fairly prominent in the late 90s. Maybe that's just because I frequented a bike shop that carried them back then...
They looked like some nice bikes to me.
Voodoo in the UK. Sorry, looks like 105/Tiagra mix.

Yeah, I couldn't find much info on it but it looked like a nice design and fit what I was shooting for. It has decent stuff on it, SRAM Rival, Mavic Aksium wheels, Easton bars & stem, Paul canti brakes, Michelin Jet 2 tires. Please don't kill me.... :-)

Slide the seat back a little bit and I bet it would fit me like a glove ;)

Don't worry, I was joking. Btw - what's your address? Do you still have the box the bike came in? Any firearms, guard dogs, etc?

I had a voodoo Dambala and just a little behind the steer tube it just broke right off. The bike is now in two pieces and it was not cracked prior to the accident. I was just riding down a paved road and the frame cracked in two. It looks like it was made out of tin foil or beer cans. CHEAP! Don't get one or sell it if you already have one.

I had a Voodoo Limba. The bike broke behind the head tube while I was in a race. I tried to role through a small creek. This was clearly too much to ask.
Luckily, I warrantied that frame, and got a Bondye(road frame) as my replacement. That was sold on ebay later.
Be careful.
