Hello all. I recently bought a Mongoose Dual Suspension Mountian Bike with 7 speed grip shifters. I would like to change them to trigger shifters, but I can't seem to find 7 speed shifters. Can anyone tell me what I can do to change my shifters from Grip to Trigger shifters. I only ride casually to and from school and whatnot, but I cannot shift the grip shifters easliy do to a wrist problem. Please help!
man, i remember my mongoose with grip shifters, they are the worst kind of shifters...ever, but i dunno if there are any seven speed triggers. do a google search on "seven speed bike trigger shifter" or somthing like that. if you find them and replace your shifters, you'll probably have to get whole grips besause if you take off the grip shifters you'll have like half a grip on each side.

You can still buy new 8-speed trigger shifters, I think.... Seven and eight speed cassettes are spaced similary so you can go ahead and use 8-speed shifters on your current 7-speed cassette, no problem. Guaranteed!

Hey guys, I just bought Shimano Rapidfire Plus Stx/Alivio 7 speed shifters. Those sound like they will work?
