i recently found a 2003 santa cruz heckler for $1900. I was wonderin if your guys think it is a good bike for the right price

i am 5'10 and 150 lbs and i was wondering which or none of those i should get. i like to do pretty much any type of mtn biking there is from exteme downhill to mellow cross country

Go for it man. Both good bikes. Either would be good. Just pick on and pay for it. You'll like them.

Yeah, they both look pretty good. I think the blue one might be better even if it is more expensive, the parts look newer and in better condition.

Still paying $1,900 for a bike you'd be expecting a great bike. Thats more then mine NEW!


Your right the blue one looks better. 8" rotors. The components look better.

IMO: When you buy Santa Cruz, you're adding alot of $$$ for the name. Just remember, the bike don't make the rider... I paid only $1000 for my brand new 2004 Haro Xtreme X2, and it'll go anywhere those two will go, and still let me have almost another $1000 to spend on either another bike or whatever. Don't get caught-up in the fashion wars in mtn.biking.
