looking for a strong bag to put my camera in that can withstand all types of weather and would be nice and comfy for whatever falls i might take

Topeak trunk bags have nice soft padding and can be divided into compartments to keep equipment from shifting around. I have an older version with separate rain cover but I think they make a waterproof one now. Another advantage if you use their rack is the quick release slide off feature to easily take your expensive equipment with you.

if the rack pack doesn't have much cushion you can get plenty from a thermarest Sportseat put inside it.
