How about a helmet-saved-me sticky thread on Advocacy and Safety? I just saw another story here, http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=61423, and added my own. Wearing a helmet is one of the easiest things we can do to stay safe, but many people still resist.
There are no sticky threads on Advocacy and Safety, so there's no problem with having too many. If it doesn't take off, you can always make it non-sticky.
