..until I pass my Stress Test next Friday. My Blood Pressure has been through the roof due to stress and possibly other health issues (pray my blood work comes back fine next week). Anyway, I'm on a new medication that could take a few weeks to kick in. This sucks!

Just stay on it with your doc and get it under control.
I'm on BP meds for a few years now. Came as a hell of a surprise at first. Not a pleasant revelation as you know. Stress has/had a lot to do with it.

Yea, the problem with BP is you can't feel it.

I feel when my blood pressure starts getting high. I really start to feel like crap, and just dont feel right when its up. 150/105 is not too bad, but not good. You should be able to knock it down with out meds is you just start to eat better. Mine was the same, and I just started eating healthy and doing cardio, and it went down to 120/80 in just over a month.
I had the option to go on the pill, but at age 17, I decided that It wasnt worth it.

Mine was high before dropping coffee and all sodas.
Too much coffee can really jack up your BP. I had a caffeine issue and ended up in the ER in August. BP was 200/110. I sat down the following day and figured I ingested 3 to 4 liters of Coke and about 3 pots of coffee that caused my problem. I stopped coffee and soda and it was down to 125/90 with in a week (before I took up biking).
Good luck.
Maybe a lot of mine is genetics, dunno, but I did almost totally eliminate soda... average 3 20-oz. bottles in 2 months. But I still drink a lot of coffee.
When I ride, (except for now, nursing the ankle) I ride hard, HR about 145-150 (I'm creepin up on 51 in about 7 weeks), 20+ min for a commute, 2+ hours for a fun ride. (fun rides usually stop about Halloween.)
The other day, in a lot of pain with the ankle, I was at 118/82, and that's high for me.
No, I'm not rubbing it in. I just credit it all to the bike. It's changed my life!
