I dont ride in the rain and we have been having alot of rain here lately. I would like to do some sort of excercise everyday. But what to do? What do you guys and gals do when its raining or when you cant ride?

I put my bike on the trainer and either watch cycling videos or some kind of sports to motivate myself. Football is great for this, as you can sprint hard everytime the RB runs the ball to help break up the workout. Spinning class is also a great workout when it's raining outside.

Easy, mate. There are but three ways to ride when it's raining.

1.) Carefully ride in the rain a bit slower than normal.

2.) Hook your bike up to a trainer and bike indoors.

3.) Buy a used Schwinn AireDyne excercise stationary bike
and bike anytime you want to. (this is what I did as
AireDynes are fairly cheap.)

I haven't had the problem with rain yet, but usually when im not biking, I strengten the rest of my body, deffinatly my arms and upper body, when biking long distances I always have to make sure that my arms are in good shape, but gotta keep my whole body in tune not just my legs.

Best exersize ever: soccer - rain or shine.

Not as good exersize but more fun: volleyball (the real kind, indoors on hardwood)

I usually stare at the radar on my computer waiting for a break in the rain. :D

When it's riding I rain. In fact, I've been known to hastily arrange rides I wasn't planning on doing because it was raining (and for no other reason). About the only things that keep me off the bike are dust storms and bushfire smoke (i.e. things that get into your lungs). Fortunately, those happen rarely enough that I can call them "rest days" and take it easy.

Riding in the rain is no big deal. It helps if you have an all-weather training bike, with slightly wider tyres and fenders.
With modern fabrics, you can be reasonably comfortable when you are wet.
Most athletes and commuters ride in all weathers.
