I have pulled a cassette from a 24 inch wheel, and am wanting to install it in a 20" BMX type wheel. i want to convert a smaller single speed bike into a multispeed machine with caliper brakes. The hub on the 20" wheel is larger than the hub on the 24 inch wheel, and I am not sure what components i have to add/change to accomplish the task at hand.

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated. i have the freewheel barnette manual, but I still can't figure it out.

You'll need to lace the 24" er's hub into the rim with some new spokes.
