Her mother tells her, "But Mary, you have to go to school. You're the principal."

Thanks, I really enjoyed it too and must have told it to about 50 people. It had a much higher than usual appreciation rate. I deal with a lot of people at work in a situation where we are not talking about work, kind of like a taxi driver. An interesting thing I noticed about jokes, the more you tell them, the better you get at it, but I guess that goes for anything. That's live, you don't get the same feedback in print.
