i was wondering where to people race in the midwest area im around chicago and would like to get some info on racing. group rides are cool but i would like to know about races.

I have yet to race, I want to get into a few next summer though. www.bfw.org/new_bfw/events/calendar.php#August This gives a calendar to events in Wisconsin. I see that there are a few down by Madison and Milwaukee.

Check out Silent Sports magazine. The back usually lists rides and races in the midwest. http://www.silentsports.net/
