OK The Bee Here - I started of the year at 185.5 and weighed in last monday at 183.5. YAY. -2. But this week weigh in was 184. Time to adjust food intake!
Goals- Not trying to drastically reduce intake, but want to be more mindful. I need to adopt a healthier lifestyle to support a sexier Sue and the Triathlete in training. So Goals:
Try oatmeal for breakfast when not running.
1) Drink more water!
2) Eat more at Subway that way I know the calories and quantities.
3) Stick to Half Ironman Training this week: Week 3
Mon: Swim 60 lengths and Ride Bike outside
Tues:Swim 75 lengths and Run 5.5 miles
Wed: Ride 25 miles
Thursday:Swim 80 lengths and Run 4.75 miles
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Long Bike 60 miles - May need to change this -a s last week only rode long ride or first ride outside in a long time 25.
Sunday: Long Run 7+Miles (LASt week was supposed to run 6.5 and actually rans 7.6)

337 lbs. this morning. I caught a stomach bug last Tuesday and am just now fully recovering, so I missed most of my workouts last week, but I did take a long walk and a 13 miles bike ride over the weekend, so I stayed active.
Goals this week:
3 days strength training
3 days cardio
2 days yoga/stretching
Clean eats all week.
I'm still on track to be at 330 by month-end.

227 this morning.
I may not see much weight loss this coming week: the surgeon says "no strenuous exercise", but this is the week I get to add soft/mushy foods to my diet. (Last two weeks have been liquid only).
I did manage to walk a bit every day last week. Goal for this week is to go back to work and not get over-tired.

I'm back!
Didn't get below a stubborn 94kg last year, but down at 93kg this week and hoping to hold it.
Have given up beer and coke (and most soda) until at least March (indoor rowing champs).

O.K.
I signed in on 01/15 @ 210.0 lbs. I managed to ride 23 mi. all indoors on the Airdyne, ate a bit better, and weighed in this morning @ 207.8 for a loss of 2.2 lbs. :)
Next week----more miles, six days of wise eating habits

246.5 today, down 2 from last Monday. That is my 4th straight week of losing weight - 8.5 pounds down since I started Dec 21st. I biked only twice last week outside (17.9 miles total) and didn't get on the trainer at all.
Goals this week: Continue day by day watching the food intake, try to get more riding and exercise in during the week.

258 again this morning = 0 pounds lost last week. I did manage to ride to work 2 days and spin a while at the gym, so I'm not discouraged.
This week's goal: Watch the calorie intake, lose 2 pounds, ride to work at least twice(rainy week ahead!).
217 this AM that's down 1 lb. I rode 80 miles last week and kept up the good eating.
This week's goals;
To ride as much as possible as the weather forecast is for torrential downpours all week.
To eat healthy
Congrats to all those meeting their goals this week!

231, hey were did that extra pound came from, oh yeah pizza, creame and sugar in coffee..duh! Started doing the EatClean diet today, my sisters have been doing it for a year with great results so I thought it was my turn.

Last week I was at 213.5, today I'm at 212.0 so that's down 1.5. I succeeded in using FitDay every day. Unfortunately, I have this cold that won't let go so I haven't been riding all week. I did do some short workouts with resistance bands.
Goals for the week...continue with FitDay and ride some, even if it's on the trainer inside.

The scale did not budge... I am angry. Grrr.
My goals
1) Drink water (even though I'm sick of looking for washrooms when I'm out doing errands)
a) carry a supply of toilet paper and hand sanitizer because some washrooms scare me and have no paper
2) Measure my food out. I'm thinking I'm confusing a bowl full of pasta as a single serving. Very bad.
3) Climb those stairs! Ug. It's awful some days but I do it. Looks like I need to up the number of floors I do. Last week I climbed 10 flights a day so I'm now doing 2 sets of 10 flights a day (I'm soon gonna run out
of floors)
4) Record what I eat, drink and keep track of exercising
On a positive note: I rode twice this weekend. Neither were very long rides -- Saturday I rode 11 km and Sunday I rode 13.5. It felt great to be on my bike. Hopefully I'll get more rides in this winter. It's a lot more fun than climbing stairs, I tell ya.

228 lbs. This morning... This is my first week in for the Biggest Loser 2010!! Down 2 lbs. this week. I didn't have a great week goal wise but kept the food pretty much better other than this weekend. I forgot when I posted last week that my anniversary was this Friday and the wife ad I went out for a great meal and some drinks. I am however giving up alcohol for 30 days not that I drink much but on the weekends I tend to which leads to bad food decisions so I am going to give this a try! I am ready to get this weight off in 2010!
Goals:
1) 96 oz. of water a day
2) Keep calories in 1800-2000 calorie range
3) No eating out at all
4) Get outside and ride 3 days this week - 3 P90X workouts...
Hopefully if I do that I will see positive results on Monday!

Hope this didnt double post. I hit something on the keyboard and everything went away...so anyways...here we go...
Week 1/10 to 1/17 Down to 268 thats 2 lbs this week. I got 60 miles on the brand new Scott Speedster S10. We had a lot of rain this week so didn't get out on it much. 20 miles of that weeks total was done yesterday a lone.
Goals for the week of 1/18-1/24
1. 80 miles this week.
2. Start my 5K training (running)
3. Continue with the GL-12 nutriention plan.
4. Any weight loss is a plus. shooting for another 2lbs.
Slow and steady! Good health is going to feel better than the junk food would ever taste!
Hit my week goals, down to 308 this week. Thus -3. This weeks goal is to just continue the process :)
Well I'm not the only one.302.8 this morning. Up a pound.Just need to work a little harder and get it to be a routine.

Ok I'll bite what is the eat clean diet?
It's basically telling you what to eat and how much, no sugar, low fat, lots of protien, tons of greens, even startches and breads. Basically think like this, if your great grandparents wouldn't recognize what you are eating as food... it's likely no good for you. I'm not going to preach it as it goes against my values. I've always said just be carefull as to how much junk you eat and it'll be fine, well I've seen my sisters transformed over the last two years and the results can't be denied. Google eatclean.

225.5...down half a pound.

I actually managed to lose about 4 pounds this week, which was very nice. I only managed to ride the trainer once, though I did get to Mountain bike once and got in a bit of a road ride on Saturday. All in all a good week.
This week, I want to get at least 5 rides in, be it on the trainer or one the trails/Road.

My goals this week:
1) DON'T SMOKE!!!!!! (That's the Biggie)
2) Go to the Gym at least 4 times (Already went Monday, so that's one down)
3) Get some form of outdoor exercise (Either walking with SWMBO or riding in the cold)
4) Eat as healthy as possible
Same goals as last week.
I'm happy to say that I have not had a cigarette since Thursday morning. Almost a full week in. At this point I am still having some decent cravings, but I don't really let them bother me because I know that I am over the hump. No reason to waste all the work that I've put in so far.
Still not going to weigh this week, but I will start the weight loss next week, since hopefully the cravings will be gone by then.
Good luck everyone, have a great week.
no changes here. home scale 208, work scale 214. only really exercise was cleaning the apartment before inspection. dread going to the gym so haven't. am eating a little better this week so should see a little something..

291.5-lbs down 3.5 pounds and fairly painless just exercising daily and eating better. I doubt this is sustainable because I'm still not down to pre-holliday weight and I was eating a lot of extra calories. I know the body likes to keep in balance to the status-quo. Over xmas I was totally out-of-control ... a whole bag of chocolate candies, sure nom-nom-nom... Added very small free weights to work my arms while riding the exercise bike. Feeling the previous days miles in my legs yesterday and today. Quit after only 25-min as I was starting to get a cramp in my inner thigh. Just have to keep on track, eat better, one meal a week I can have something really bad.
Monday morning, 205.0, so down about 1/2 pound from previous week.
January 1, was 208. November 8 when I changed eating habit, 221.

Monday morning 266lbs. So I lost another 2lbs. I got 70 miles in on the bike this week with 20 of it yesterday as my long ride. Over all I feel luck to lose weight this week due to a Friday party and NFL playoffs yesterday = BEER. At the party and during the playoff games yesterday I still managed to eat healthy which is probably why I was still able to lose 2lbs. This week-
Goals- Continue the Carb cycle lifestyle/diet (depends on who you ask). Hoping for another 2lbs gone by next Monday!
Riding goals- 100 miles this week.
Keep it simple and plan ahead for eating.
Shiner 100/Century ride May 1st!

Since I haven't been paying attention lately. Here is my information for the last three weeks.
01/04/10 282
01/11/10 276
01/18/10 270
01/25/10 265
I have some very large goals this year and those are to no longer be a clyde for the weight as I will always be a clyde because I am 6'3". I am not counting calories, but I am reducing the amount of meat that I am eating and eating more vegetables and fruits. I think the biggest change for me is less swimming and more running. I have gone from swimming everyday M-F, to running 45 minutes on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and swimming on Tuesday and Thursday and possibly a swim on Saturday or Sunday if the pool is available for open swimming.
I ride on rollers as my time allows in the evenings.

Great week for me, last week 231lbs today 226lbs whoohoo! A lot of work and good eating habits are paying off. 26lbs to my midway goal with 46 more to hit my ultimate goal of 180lbs. Sent away registration for an organized back to back century today that will take place in early June. I'm pretty excited about that so will have to keep it up. I want to get faster up hills and the only way is to have less of me to take up them!

Still loosing slowly and surely. 284.4-lbs today on the Wii "empty bucket" weight. Just keep riding the exercise bike + more fruit & veggies & less meat & fatty/fried foods.

1/25 weight 243.5, down 3 from last week 246.5. That's 11.5 pounds in 5 weeks. I rode my bike for 4 times, two indoors and two outdoors totalling 45.6 miles for the week. Did much better this weekend - stayed on my plan fairly well.
Let's see, I was at 217 last week. I'm 213 today for a net loss of 4 lbs. this week. Yay! I only got in 40 miles on the bike. We had an unusual amount of rain for the desert. I'm using calorie count to track my calories.
Goals for the week to come:
Ride as much as the weather permits.
Keep tracking those calories and eating healthy.
Start doing some crunches.
