Hi,

I'm looking to buy a second hand hybrid for mainly road cycling - and have the chance to buy a reasonably priced Arrow Cross. It's been difficult finding reviews/information on it though.

anyone have any experience of these bikes? or able to offer any advice/models?
Example; http://www.avocetsports.co.uk/items/2559-15-cross-arrow-gents-21.html

Thanks,

R

It looks like a really nice bike, well suited to multiple function duty.....

With a bike like that who needs a car?

I like the wheel lacing, what is that kind of pattern called? I think it's a great looking ride... I'm more of a drop-bar guy but I'd ride this bike all over town.

If it fits, go for it. Doesn't look like you can go wrong.

"Cross Cycles is a European company manufacturing quality hand built bikes."

250 pounds is about $600, right? That's a deal! Even has a pump! A Chainguard! Bell and fenders! Is this a legit company? How can they do that?

Hi there. Thanks for all the feedback. I went for the bike and am (so far) happy I did! It's a good ride, and nice and comfortable.

Fairly new to cycling so starting off with a few 10-15 mile rides, gradually building up. It seems to be getting easier each time, so fingers crossed this will continue!

congrats on your new ride. enjoy it thoroughly!

you're going to love doing 40 mile rides as long as you have a comfortable saddle. i mention this because that was the only thing hindering my long rides once i got my bike.
