hey everyone, (1st post)
im a beginner when it comes to MTB, recently i received a 04' Diamondback Response, everything is stock except for the saddle, which i had to replace after the second day of riding, anyway, i just wanted to know is this a good entry level bike?

If you enjoy it, if it fits and if it is getting you on trails..it is an excellent entry level bike. You will know when you are riding above your bike. Some people never do (as they can do anything on the bike they love first) but if at any time you come to a level where you feel your bike can't survive...thats when the bike becomes "not a good entry level bike"...
Cheers and enjoy the trails :)

welcome to the forums. Diamondback makes some good entry level bikes. they hold up pretty well to general riding and even light freeride as long as you do not overdo it. you may find some components are not what you want(like the seat) but the Response is a reliable choice. as usual thanks for the wise words Maelstrom. you da man!
