I get about two people that stop in a month to my blog from the forum. Thanks for the traffic. Although, no one has said hi yet..... But I will blame that on lack of interesting content.

Content is the hardest part. Ever since I started my blog (http://nycbikecommuter.info/), I think about content every day. That's what makes people come back: something to read, to learn, to relate to, to laugh at. I learned that this is a lot of work. You've got to provide content, content is the value people come for.

The notes stay on their server, kind of like Google Apps only very, very simple (which I like). There are standalone apps for Windows and Macs - but I just use the web interface - and apps for iPhone and iPad. I wrote a draft for a whole article on my iPhone while doing laundry. Then I got home, logged in to the web site and it was all there: no synchronization, no uploading necessary. It makes taking notes very easy.

Personally, I like photos, it instantly adds life to a post. .
