The G600 was bought in 2004 and the Coolpix during the late half of 2009. The old G600 jams often and has to be rebooted (take battery off and put it back on) all the time. But I think it takes better pictures than the newer Coolpix. Maybe I just have the Coolpix's settings wrong. Here are 2 pics I just shoot for comparison:

They kinda look the same tho... :S but IMHO the G600 pics were better...
