Foo - simulation of the plane piloted by sullenberger landing in the hudson

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

indeed....I would have been screaming like a little girl once I realized I was going down in the Hudson. Of course, after that, I might of had to join the not quite mile high club with the head flight attendant. :innocent:

In 3 minutes or less from the bird strike to the water landing?

I didn't say I'd get finished. Is that a criteria for successfully joining the club?

Also, now that there is a building taller than the maximum altitude that US1549 hit, it'd be much easier to just go to Dubai with Mrs. MV and get a top-floor room and join the club that way.

I don't know on that question, but I'm pretty sure being above 1 mile AGL is a criteria, so you would be out.
There's a similar simulation the NTSB or FAA produced for last year's Colgan Air crash in Buffalo. It leaves one a little unsettled, especially if you understand what's happening on the controls.
