My son will be 13 in a couple months, he is 4' 11" and is growing fast. Although I don't think he will be too tall. (I'm 5' 8" and his mom is 5' even on a good day.) My question is what bike (entry level) would he feel comfortable on now, but could also grow into if he hits a growth spurt. This is going to be his first road bike and we are both excited. Any suggestions? :D Thanks

Look for a lightly used road bike. Ask your LBS for any suggestions or if they have a used bike for sale. I don't know if I'd go new simply because he will grow a bit more. Maybe a lot more. You never know. Some road bike manufacturers make bikes at 48cm some even go as small as 43cm, but he would probably outgrow that in a year maybe less. Look for some deals, ask around.

Fuji make some well designed small road bikes at good prices.
