Me- getting ready to go to class, doing a bit of homework, trying to read a textbook.

You- playing a game on the internet.

Do you really need the volume turned up that loudly? It's a serious of beeps, explosions, and a guy saying, "excellent." I'm trying to study and this house is tiny. Could you at least give me the courtesy of turning the volume down? Freakin' A...

Grandma feels that weirdness that you feel and it makes her wish you would just speak your piece to her like you would to anyone else.

OK, so one beep is a beep, but more than one beep is a "serious" of beeps? Like a crow and a "murder" of crows? :p

Oh, I've known how oblivious I am for a long time. See my most recent thread for an example. I just wasn't aware of how oblivious other people are. :P

When did Grampa enter this discussion? I thought the problem was with Gramma having the game volume up too loud. Gramps is prolly out in the yard puttering with his rose bushes or sumpin.

For the purposes of this family, Grampa doesn't exist.

She has other, equally obnoxious habits that don't rely on the sense of hearing. She's essentially a teenager but I can't confront her as I would a teenager.

We're encouraging this one. She had a date with a retired doctor from church. We can hope that will work out. :D
