I have been looking around the net to try to find a bike rack for a 2000 Camaro...
I do not have a hitch...does anyone know of an bike rack that would fit this car?
Thanks for the help.
on ur camero... you can easily find any kind of trunk rack to choose from. carmero has a pretty hard sheet metal for the trunk if i remember correctly, therefore the trunk rack will work just fine.
or you can do a search on this forum and read up on the racks available. there are tons of options, just comes down to how much u willing to spend.
btw, welcome to the forum!

Have you checked out Saris Bones? I think that it's the most versatile of the strap on racks. If the legs have enough curve to span the spoiler you're in.
Regardless of which strap on rack you use, if you use it once a week for a whole summer, by September you'll be able to tell where the feet set on your trunk lid. If you're picky about your car's paint, get a receiver.

Thanks for the help guys.
I do care about the paint on the car!!! I dont want to scratch it all up.
I have been looking around and have found a couple of optoins (from this web site)
but could not find anything that was really created for the camaro...
I will post what ever I find that fits best. Thanks again.

airwalker... the hitch mount that i got will NOT scratch ur car at all. in fact it won't even come close to your car. check www.hitchmart.com to find the hitch receiver for your car. and then go buy the bike rack from performance and u'll be good as gravy.
the same one i got from performance comes with a 2" adapter included! most places will charge you another $20-$30 for the adapter. anyway.. check it out. this is by far the best solution. my setup cost me $109 (for the hitch receiver) & $138 (for the flatbed rack with 20% off coupon). so total is $247.00 which is much cheaper than going with a roof mount yakima/thule system.
