Blogger's Forum - Biking In Dallas - looking for suggestions and feedback

I didn't realize we had a forum dedicated to bloggers and self-publishers. Very cool.

Ok my site is Biking in Dallas (http://www.bikingindallas.com) We're catering to the leisure, casual, commuting cyclist and not sport cycling. We're using a magazine style format too.

Anyhow, I'm open to suggestions or feedback.

I think you should move the "lifestyle" section farther to the right. Everything under that heading is non bicycle related, but it's the first thing that catches your eye. At first I thought the whole site was about NFL football and CD releases. Once I found that the meat of the site was under "bikes and reviews", "rides and events", "bike in Dallas", it was a great site! Lots of good content! I think the eye naturally reads from left to right, so put the most important headings on the left. I'm no expert, just what I think. Great site though.

Thanks and that's a good point, I agree with you completely. I have actually been planning to reverse the order I just haven't gotten to it yet. Maybe I can swing it tonight.
