Mountain Biking - Good AM Wheels?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Radial-laced 24-spoke front, 28-spoke rear and 26mm wide "all-mountain?" I don't think so.

Wrong wheels for AM. Check out Mavic Deemax's .

Radial lacing = silly idea (at least IMHO).
Wrong wheels for AM. Check out Mavic Deemax's .DeeMax is a bit of overkill, since that's a DH wheelset. But there are tons of wheelsets out there perfectly suited for your purpose, Dilberto - - just not the ones you had your eye on.

Depends what your definition of all mountain is. I'd agree with the others that Roval set isn't quite it, but perhaps could work for your riding if the price were right, but hard to know since you don't describe your riding or budget. Deemax is overkill for AM riding (plus it's a proprietary type factory wheelset, I wouldn't recommend one at all). Might peruse some of the "AM" choices at bicyclewheelwarehouse.com, too, for a good standard wheelset with a good build at a good price...
