Apparently my friend Greg was riding down the street and there was a guy tying a mattress to the top of his truck and he threw a coil of twine over the top from the curb side. Greg was riding by on the street at just the right instant and the twine landed in his lap and in turn got caught in his cranks causing him to crash. the concerned mover ran to the other side of car to see if he was alright and all Greg could say was "You lassooed me!" He was fine afterwards but this has to be the funniest circumstance for a crash I've ever heard. I had to share.
